Venue alternatives

This exhibition is based at Moggerhanger Park, near Bedford, off the A1.  See map.

By prior arrangement it can be viewed at Moggerhanger Park, or at a venue convenient

for your group, e.g. your local church hall.

Space required

Ideally the model is displayed surrounded on three sides by our high curtains, needing a rectangular floor space of 20ft by 10ft.

For larger group sizes we bring a projection screen 14ft wide and a minimum of 11ft high.

For smaller groups a 7ft wide screen is used.

Set-up time

A full day is needed to set up the model and projection system, and half a day to remove. For example: set-up starts after lunch on Tuesday for an 8pm session on Wednesday;

all removed by noon on Thursday.

Cost

There is no fee.  Any voluntary contribution towards travel expenses is appreciated.

The Programme

For an evening event we suggest up to a

30-minute guided tour of the model, followed by up to one hour for the illustrated talk and on-screen presentation. For example: 8pm to 9.30pm.

Separate programmes are available for adult and youth groups. We provide practical activities using 3D-printed mini-models suitable for children aged 8 to 11 years.

Group sizes

The minimum group size is a dozen. The suggested maximum is 50 - 70 people.

Accommodation

If the venue is very distant from Bedford

then local overnight accommodation for two staff might be requested.
